USB Hub
The usb hub only requires two usb ports at the top that can be used to connect peripherals to OSES. There are two ways to do this, you can either buy the hub with no usbs and solder them on yourself, or buy the hub with usbs, then remove the unneeded ones.
The tutorial will be following the latter, removing usbs. The electrical component modification steps can be a bit finicky, so just be slow, careful and patient. Start with the usb hub as it’s the cheapest part!
What To Remove
We will be removing these usbs.
USB Removal
Pry the usb back and forth whilst melting the solder on each side.
You will be left with this.
Remove the terminals as so.
Do the same for the other usbs, make sure you reference the top photo as not to remove the wrong ones
