Main Assembly

Main Body

Here’s where all your careful labour starts to come together. In this section we will see our OSES take its final form, how exciting!

Button Film Trim

We have to trim a corner of the button film on the arrow button side. Put it in place and see where it's unable to be pressed in by the standoff, mark this. The get your snips and trim that edge off.

Speaker Install

For left and right, install the speakers by pressing them in into their mounts, if yours feels loose you can add a dab of super glue. Make sure the wiring side of the speaker is rotated away from where your bumper buttons will go

Button Install

Quick tip: Use the foam that came with the screen to place the console body on, this allows the buttons to sit properly in assembly.

Starting off, start & select buttons: These buttons DO have a direction due to the screen location, if you look at the button side on, one side has a more narrow flange, this side faces the screen.

Screen & Start Mount Install

Installing the screen make sure you plug in the HDMI and USB before installing it. Then install your pre-wired start button mount.

Main Component Mount

Slide the main component mount in at a slight angle, aligning the power put to its hole. Make sure you pay attention to the wires, routing them around the back of the standoff.

Wiring AUX

Now time to wire the aux before we cover it up. We will be doing mono audio, but this console can have stereo if you use the correct stereo potentiometer and wire it accordingly.

Cut two wires, black and green, strip the ends and prep with solder. On the green wire strip enough off to bridge left and right terminals on the aux if doing mono.

Solder your wires to the aux port, bridging L/R for mono audio, then push the wires over.

Cover the terminals with electrical tape.
